Built especially for Chiang Kai Shek decades ago, sentries continue to loyally stand guard over the dock to this day. Two boats, replicas of those Chiang himself ventured onto the lake in, offer a trip to the heart of the lake to watch the sunrise, enjoy breakfast in, view the enchanted scenery and imagine Chiang himself on the lake, with all the major military decisions of the country in his hands.
