The 'Lake View' Chinese Restaurant

Chef Willy Liu recommends his latest creation: sliced abalone with steamed wax gourd. Abalone is steamed with wax gourd and sauce, the wax gourd is full of flavors and just melts away in your mouth. In addition, there is also Honzou style crispy skin chicken. This chicken with golden brown and crispy skin is tender and juicy, and is very good with the Chefˇ¦s special sauce, which is mixed with more than a dozen different herbs and spices. It offers you an opportunity to try dishes made of fresh locally grown products.

The Japanese Restaurant

Chef Nobuhiro has a specially prepared menu for this season. Fresh scallop and lily bulb in steamed egg. This dish is ideal for autumn time. Or, Jack Mackerel imported from Japan, slowly grilled over the open fire with salt sprinkled on top, then drizzled with freshly squeezed lemon juice before serving. It brings out the best taste that fish can provide, and you can taste a hint of lemon as well. We are open for dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Lobby Bar

This popular drink- White Russian, is made of Vodka, coffee liquor and milk. It is full of coffee aroma, and looks just like iced coffee with milk, both in appearance and taste. The silky texture and pleasant flavor of the drink make it the most suitable beverage for this autumn season.

The Tea House

During afternoon tea time, brew a pot of fine handmade artisan tea, made with sweet-scented osmanthus lily, and watch the tea leaves disperse into beautiful flowers in the hot water. It not only satisfies your taste, but it is also beautiful to see and enjoy. Another choice is ˇ§Forest Assam Black Tea Set Menuˇ¨. This is a selection of Hong Kong-style dim sum, all made with Assam black tea. The menu includes: steamed shrimp dumplings, water chestnut jelly fritters, steamed vegetable buns, deep-fried nut puffs, tea eggs and jelly. The Tea House boasts the beautiful scenery of Sun Moon Lake and at the same time you can enjoy watching the fish swim in the pond.
